Knysna Boat Rentals

Exceptional service. Clean modern boats. Powered by 4-stroke motors
Founded in 2021, Knysna Boat Rentals started with a single small cabin boat focused on fishing trips and memorable days on the water. From the beginning, our goal has been simple — provide clean, modern boats, reliable service, and make boating easy and accessible for everyone, whether you have boating experience or not.

We take pride in handling the delivery, launching, and retrieval of the boats so our guests can simply arrive, hop on, and enjoy a stress-free experience on the water.

In 2024, we began upgrading our fleet to modern luxury boats powered exclusively by 4-stroke motors, offering quieter cruises, improved fuel efficiency, and a smoother, more comfortable boating experience for our guests. By February 2026, we proudly fulfilled that promise, with every boat in our fleet now powered by reliable 4-stroke motors.

What They’re Talking About

We strive to deliver 100% customer satisfaction as we know that the customer always comes first!

Couldn’t ask for more, the boat was delivered on time to the jetty of the house we rented on Thesen Island, we had it for three of weeks with a small gap in between when we took a trip. All went smoothly and we loved the boat.

The best boat rental company in Knysna! Price on the website is what they charge you, the other company charges extra launch fees... Boat was in good condition and the owner is always on time! This is the company you want to approach for a boat in Knysna!

Alex de Klepper

All in all a great experience. The whole process was easy and efficient and having the boat was a huge bonus for the family. I would recommend Manie and Knysna Boat Rentals without hesitation.
